I am pretty sure it to be a driver/bluetooth issue on WIndows, as i have zero issues while syncing with my Samsung Galaxy S8+ and it works flawlessly. I haven't come with a solution yet to make the Airpods Microphones work, but i will keep trying. Or, if it isnt or you dont want to do the repair, you have the option of getting a 3.5mm to USB adapter and using that to connect them to the laptop. You can do that (or contact the manufacturer if it is under warranty). I am sick and tired of the inability to communicate directly with a technician. This is affecting my productivity and income. As I work from home I rely heavily on Skype. I have been a Skype user for a number of years. DISABLE ITĨ-In the end your AIrpods will only serve to listen to audio, but your microphones will not work and, instead, you need to use your pc's. Sounds like the 3.5mm port just may not be functioning correctly and need repair or replacement. I have had my personal technician spend three hours trying to figure out the problem without results. Since i applied the fix below it never happened again! Hence, i'll post it here for everyone:ġ-Remove any syncs from Windows of your Apple Airpods.Ģ-Start the Sync process from scratch (hold your Airpod's buttom and find the device on Windows).ģ-Right click your sound tray icon, click Soundĥ-There you will have 2 devices after syncing your Airpods, let them like this:Ī)Headset AirPods Hands-Free - DISABLE ITī)Headphones Airpods Stereo - LET IT ENABLED AND SET AS DEFAULTħ-There you will have the Headset AIrpods Hands-Free. Hello, i finally fixed the issue which i didn't find elsewhere, about the Apple Airpods not working properly on Windows 10 and Skype for Business/Lync.
